Formerly, Hero Honda, Hero Motocorp Ltd is an Indian manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters. The company has its headquarter in Gurgaon, India. Hero Honda started off with the joint venture of Hero Cycles of India and Honda of Japan. In 2010, Honda decided to move out the venture, and consequently, the company was renamed as Hero Motocorp in the year 2011. Till 2010, the company used the bike manufacturing technology from its Japanese counterpart. The Hero Maestro Edge is comparatively high priced with a price tag of INR 55,000 onwards. Moreover, if you wish to avail Hero scooters at much lower prices, you can buy used Hero scooters. The used Hero Duet scooters would cost around INR 42,000-55,000, while the used Hero Pleasure scooters fall in the price range of INR 17,000-38,000.

The Hero Dare and Hero ZIR are the two upcoming Hero scooters. The estimated price of these models is INR 60,956 onwards. Hero Dare is a 125 cc scooter, whereas Hero ZIR will be a new Hero scooter model in the 150cc segment.
